How to buy KPLC tokens on your phone is a straightforward and convenient process, seamlessly merging technology and utility management. You easily access this service through your phone following the steps below:
Go to Safaricom SIM Tool Kit, select M-PESA menu,
Select Lipa na M-PESA From M-Pesa,
select Pay Bill on the drop-down menu Select enter a business number.
Enter KPLC’s Lipa na M-PESA PayBill number 888880 and press “OK.”
Select Enter an account number from the given option, and enter your KPLC prepaid meter number and press “OK.”
Enter the amount you want to use to buy the token.
Enter your M-PESA PIN and press “OK.”
Confirm all the details are correct and press “OK.”
You will receive a confirmation SMS from M-PESA.
KPLC will then generate a prepaid token valid for your meter and send it via SMS after which you are required to key in the information on your meter box and press “Enter.
